I’ve been a video game player for as long as I can remember. Cursed with an interest in most genres, there is unfortunately not enough time in the world for me to play them all. But above all, I enjoy games with some strategical or mechanical depth to them, both for the replayability factor and the massive Wikis that often accompany them. I sometimes spend more time poring them than playing the game themselves, and I often find myself contributing as well. Sometimes minor edits to fix spelling and poor structure, but occasionally additional information about games I am more familiar with. It was thus logical for me to shift my studies towards game design, where this experience can be put to good use. I am rather passionate about game balance, but I can also do level design and game mechanics.

I am also typically involved in a tabletop RPG on the side. I learned D&D on my own a while ago and spread the RPG love wherever I went. Nowadays I often find myself a player rather than GM, as all of these newbies want to try their turn on the throne. The time saved from not having to prepare sessions is often instead spent inventing various homebrews for my own amusement.
